This is similar to the creation of a collage, but it’s more fluid. We will decorate a box and around the outside edges write: “Thank You! Thank You!” And on the inside lid write: “Whatever is written in this box is So!” Then, on slips of paper, write your desires . . . as if they have already occurred. Thus, we will create MIRACLES. There will be massive amounts of embelishments to apply and equally massive amounts of support as we join together in helping each other create MIRACLES! Cost is $19 and box and all supplies are supplied. This will be fun, festive, and fulfilling. Then you can stay and enjoy drumming circle!

As Denise began chatting about Miracle Boxes I knew it was time. I jumped up, grabbed my partially completed Miracle Box and a tote box full of my collage materials and I was creating. It was almost like being with Denise again, she talked, did a meditation and I worked on my Miracle Box. By the end of the show, my box was complete and it felt so GOOD. I am a complete believer in everything happening when it should and as it should…even if we never understand WHY in our Rational Minds (fodder for another post). So, the Miracle Box I completed on THAT day was the perfect Miracle Box for me to work with.

Create a Magical Miracle Box

This is similar to the creation of a collage, but it’s more fluid. Decorate a box—it can be cardboard, wood or plastic—and around the outside edges write: “Thank You! Thank You!” And on the inside lid write: “Whatever is written in this box is So!” Then, on slips of paper, write your desires . . . as if they have already occurred. When something manifests remove the slip of paper…and you can add more if you like. Put special objects into the box such as crystals or flower petals. Place it in a special place to help manifest your dreams.

Here are the basics of a Miracle Box…

Find a box that you can decorate. Any crafts or general store will have them. You can use one of the Kraft cardboard boxes, a wooden box, or even a cigar box. Shape is not important…round, square, rectangle, whatever box makes your heart sing.

Gather your magazine collection, any embellishments you desire, glue (Rubber cement is my fave), scissors, Sharpies® or pen/pencil of choice.

Go through the magazines and cut the pictures, words, phrases out that speak to you.

Then attach the words, phrases, embellishments onto the box. You can cover your box with anything you desire…now is the time to let your creative juices flow or NOT! It can be as simple or over-the-top as you wish. With nods to Outback, No Rules, Just Right!

Next, write, as Denise outlines above, Thank You all around the outside and on the top. Then on the inside top, “What is written in here is so.” or “As it is, so it shall be.” This is an important positive manifestation of the thoughts that will be put inside.

Next, write your intentions, your desires, your dreams, your affirmations on slips of paper and put them inside. I used a hand made paper and carefully tore the strips of paper. You can do whatever feels good for you, of course. Write the intentions in the positive and as if they have already manifested. For example…”I am healthy and vibrant and at my ideal size.” “I am enjoying work that fulfills me and pays well.” You get the idea!

Place the intentions inside the box. You can add crystals, flowers, anything you wish! As the intentions come true, remove them and thank the Universe (insert your word, God, Heaven, etc.).

I end with a meditation in which I visualize each and every intention being fulfilled. This does not have to take long, just a few minutes total OR it can take as long as you wish. Once again…no rules! Oh, I also began with a visualization of my Miracle Box being a vibrant tool for my spiritual growth.

I also stopped and cleaned my desk before I began working on my Miracle Box. After I completed the box, I also gave my office a really good cleaning. I admit, that is one of my challenges in life. I loathe cleaning and make many excuses for it. I have even played the Past Life Princess card, to no avail, I might add. It felt so good to have a fresh, clean office to finish my Miracle Box in!

Anyway, I got to BH and set everything up. Totes full of magazines make for a bit of a workout when you fill them too full and lug them up a big flight of stairs. I had magazines (neatly divided into stacks by category: Oprah, More, animal, woo-woo and misc.), glitter, embellishments, all kinds of cool scissors and more!

Right on time, my bright eyed Vision Boarders arrived and we jumped right into it. As I mentioned, we were not working with resolutions, we were setting intentions. We chatted a bit, got to know each other and talked about what drew each of us to the class. Then I led us in a guided meditation to help further set the intention for the Vision Board. It just felt magical! Everyone jumped up…ready for the treasure hunt for the PERFECT items to say to the world what they were allowing in 2010!

What was also fun was that several of the people who took this class were workshop newbies. It made me feel really good that the class attracted people new to this type of work. I thank them and am honored they trusted me with their dreams.

A girlfriend asked me for pictures of the event, as she wanted to see the Vision Boards…and yep, you guessed it, I flat out forgot to take pictures! I am hoping I can get pictures from everyone who was there…hint, hint! Here are the two half-sized boards I did…

Earlier today I snagged a nice, fresh piece of poster board and started my 2010 Intentions Board. I will admit, I got a wee bit of a head start as I had been tearing way cool pics and bis from magazines for the last week or so, getting ready for the big event…tahdah…Intention Day!

At the center of my 2010 Intention Board, I have stated “Who I A Is Enough” one of my favorite Denise Linn quotations. To me, that sums up the struggle that so many of us have…that somehow we are inherently just not enough…most of us have an Enough Button…slim enough, young enough, smart enough, clever enough, all the way to that all time, all around Enough Button…plain old Good Enough.

I filled the rest of my 2010 Intention Board with quotes, pictures, and some of my It’s Your Karma Cards…just to ensure the absolute success of that soon-to-be-released project – blatant pre-plug. I was careful to cover various aspects of my life, my marriage, mu animals, my health, my spiritual path, friends, family, and good old fashioned abundance and prosperity!

May you and yours have a 2010 that surpasses all of your hopes and dreams!

This work is going to help soo many people, I want to get the word out and prep my energy for a big blast! This is one of my steps in that direction.

Prosperity for you might be something very different, a new job, a new relationship, a raise at your current job, new clients for your practice…there are as many definitions of Prosperity at there are each of you!

OK,  back to the Prosperity Challenge. I have listened to the appropriate Flowdreams and felt the energy of Prosperity! WhooHoo! Now, I am grounding it by sharing with each of YOU. After I post this blog post I am off to create my Vision Board for this program. I will share pics of that one when I am through with it.

I selected a printer in Malaysia for a number of reasons. First, I did not want to print in China, out of respect for His Highness the Dalai Lama. A project so close to my heart had to be printed in a manner of which I could be 100% proud of. I selected Thumbprints, inc. This also spoke to my interest in Hand Analysis and they are a very “green” company. Plus, well into the negotiations I discovered my salesperson had married a nice man from Scotland and her married name is Armstrong, my mother’s married name. I did not need any more validation that that for my heart-centered project.

Like many of us, I feel as if I “grew up” with Dr. Wayne Dyer. From Your Erroneous Zone through Intentions and now, Excuses Begone! He has evolved and taken us right along with him and that is part of the appeal of his work. I love to listen to his workshops on my adored iPod and THEN read the books. Gives me a much better feel for the energy of the work. Yesterday I drove to Grand Forks, ND (way cool city) and listened to Excuses Begone there and back and was smitten with the essence of it. I called my husband and a couple of friends to babble about this work and now, I am sharing more here.

The essence is this…there is absolutely no excuse for not embracing the amazing soul spark you are within. None, not one. He has devised the most elegant and common-sensical responses to virtually any excuse most of us could come up with. Even those who are Master Excusers (we all know or are them). A man asked how to quit biting his fingernails and Wayne told him to quit putting his hands in his mouth. I exploded laughing at that one. It actually IS that simple. Of course, he does not make light of deep seated emotional issues, he gently takes he person through a series of questions to help them uncover exactly what needs to be exposed. Then, he helps them carefully craft their own excuse busters.

I consider myself a very positive person, looking at that glass full and running over…that said I DO have a few areas that I struggle with. And they have dug their claws deep into my psyche.
